Default VK3 centurion 6 start up procedure

I have a new to me VK3 with centurion 6 control.

When we start up the machine from power down state.
We have to press F1 then F2 then some "y" and it begins a setup of the scram drive.

Machine powers up ok and functions all seem to work. But we lose G54 coordinates and tool length offsets
and have to reset them each time.

    Is this normal?
Or do we have something wrong?

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

Hi, You are reformatting the SRAM every time you do that. your simdisk battery is most likely bad.
