    Default 2003 vm25 7 control

    How come when I use cutter comp this machine comes in at a angle even when I program it to come in 90 deg (perp) ? parameter? Thanks

    You have to program a lead in. Perpendicular or at an angle or maybe even arc. You cant come in straight. It compensates in the first move.

    Thanks for the reply, yes I do have a lead in, I program it to come in at a perpendicular line to pick up the comp and the control moves in X and Y
    I did see a parameter in my fast cam2 that might fix this, I also seen some other posts asking the same thing, I will see if the parameter is the same in the machine, I did not see it in the programming manual.

    Yes the parameter 90 degree cutter comp works
