Why do you even need the p program? Where are you transferring from?

I am trying to move programs to a milltronics machine. The only way I have to do this is with a floppy so I am limited on size. My question is, does the O program and the P program have to be the same? That is what I have been told but to me it seems like such a waist of space. So right now I am limited since every program I move is actually double its original size.

Hi Russell, There are several ways to load programs. how you load and run it will depend on the available memory (Parts storage) RAM, . If the control has been updated to a Single Board Computer ( SBC) etc,
If it is a SBC I have a program I wrote to zip up about a 4.5MB CadCam file Zip it up and be able to UNZIP directly into the control thru the floppy drive or one of my USB floppy emulator drives This works on SBC and controls that are booting from a hard drive.
From there, a couple of other option become available,
I can even update your control to use a thumb drive, This is a full 2GB "hot swappable" thumb drive system that works in DOS. I call it my Super SBC control update.
