Anyone in the central Florida area?
If anyone that is experienced in Milltronics diagnostics, I am in need of some help. (Partner 1, Centurion 5)
My X axis runs away repeatedly and I am unsure why. I lack the electronic knowledge to correctly diagnose the machine without possibly making it worse. I have also realised my time to diagnose and study up on the necessary areas to become capable of diagnosing. Is usually taken up by something more urgent. At my current pace, it would be 1-2 years before the machine is running.
If you live somewhere in the area, or close enough to make the drive, please message me.
Orlando Florida near University of Central Florida.

Hi Sen2two, a runaway is usually caused by 1. a bad encoder, 2. missing tach feedback to the axis drive card.
Give me a call and we should get a resolution in about 15 minutes.
you will need a multi meter to check for DC voltages.
I can also refer you to a service guy in FL.

What time and day would be the best time to call you? Adjusting for time zone difference that is.
