    Default Fusion360 post oddity

I'm getting some weird results on the machine from the attached file.

Posted from Fustion360 - latest post. Its 2 contours with compensation turned on.

When I verify (and run over air) the 1st contour which should be 4 circles basically finishing the OD of a basic kurt jaw counterbore. The control zig zags, cutting across from start to finish and back to start for each circle.

The 2nd contour which is a more complex backwards J shape appears to function flawlessly.

Hoping this is just a parameter or post change. not sure whats going on.

    Yugami,

Try turning off trig help by changing misc. parameter special flags to 002.

Hello again. Revisiting this. I verified the parameter has been changed to 002 and I see no improvement. I just did 2 test posts from fusion using the default milltronics post. One with Radius Arc to NO (default)

And one with it set to yes

Simple code. Helical down to the bottom of a hole then clean up the perimeter.
I didn't try cutting metal because the movement in air seemed to exactly mimic the jerks you see on the screen. maybe just maybe Radius yes will work, 4 distinct motions and its hard to say it was square or round but I've broken enough tooling recently on my own.

Perhaps a cutter comp problem? turn off the cutter comp in the control, special flags
Special Flags Normally set to 0
Bit 1 (#1) will place a dot on the graphics screen when plotting the tool.
Bit 2 (#2) will shut off trig help.
Bit 3 (#4) will shut off cutter compensation.
Bit 5 (#16) draws a circular tool in XY plane same diameter as active tool.
Bit 6 (#32) draws a 3-D tool on graphics screen.

    These are "additive #'s
bit 2 +bit 3 = 6, turns off both trig help and cutter comp.

7 = white dot + trig help off + cutter comp off.
