Power Drawbar cylinder teardown?
Has anyone taken apart the air cylinder that sits on the spindle for tool changes?
I've got some pretty bad leaks in mine that come and go as gunk gets pushed around.
One in in the threaded area which is open do most people have a plug installed in there? Seems like it should have something. The other is the OD of the cylinder, it was pretty gunked up and probably created gaps in the seal.

This is a very different size but explains a lot. I have a big spanner on order we'll see how it goes Tuesday night.

If you rare talking about the big pancake cylinder on top of the machine? Think it's about a 6" bore? I purchased a rebuild kid for mine, don't think I ever got around to rebuilding it. Info on the kit, it was rebuild kit for an RK6, cost $29.45 and I got it from HeiTek Industrial Automation in Phoenix, AZ. I would assume they have offices in other parts of the country.

Hi Yugami, If you have the "square" cylinder, The 4 lock nuts are held in with RED lock tite, get your propane torch out.
I have rebuild kits for the "square" single stage cylinders.

It was round, the only issue with it was they were feading it dirty air and crud opened the seal just enough.
Wiped everything down and relubed the gaskets and oring. Fixed a few of my plungers and everything is back up.
Leaving town for the weekend but I'll be tackling the z tram on Monday.
