    Default Feed rate

I am working on a Bridgeport torq cut 22. Halfway through cutting out a part of the machine just stopped and gives me an error message that there is no feed rate specified. Any help would be appreciated.

The only odd thing I see there is what I assume is a comment 'POS# 1'. Maybe the controller is trying to read this as a feed speed?

If it is not required, then deleting 'POS# 1' might be helpful.

    Jim,

Start with waht version of software is on the machine. Look on Main startup page, upper left corner. Want to see ... 6.87 or 6.89.

How are you writing the code: cam offline; Bridgeport's editor with help will force you to fill all parameters and not get this error; or just from memory.

Can you post the code. cant see text in pict.

    Jim,
Bart again. I see the error. On line with G2. It is the remark delimiter character; specifically the line shows G2 ..... 'Pos#....
The <'> character is not syntax legal for a remark in Bridgeport world. Bridgeport uses <;> semicolon. change to G2.... ; Pos#
