    Default Pully size

I have a linear actuator that has a stroke of 18 inches. I need to double that with the use of pullies.
Not sure how to accomplish that.

Picture 2. Replace the weight with the linear actuator. If it moves 18'' the ''S'' will move 36 inches

    Hey, that's perfect thanks.
    I have a follow-up question
If I increased the size of the lower pully would that increase the speed of the top pully or just the distance the hook will move

Yes, the rotational speed of the top pulley would increase by the ratio of the pulley sizes.
