Started this thread to help others fix their Mitsubishi MDS drives. Looking for others to post what they know too.


I have repaired servo drives, spindle drives and power supplies.

Info and pictures coming soon.
Lots of parts Available on eBay for decent prices.
Flat rate repairs on most of this stuff is ridiculous.
Most cases you just need a board or powerblock.
Capacitors are easy to change yourself and they are the number one cause of drive failure.

I dont know much about these drives other than I have one machine with them... any info is greatly appreciated as i am my own service tech for this stuff and am not very familiar with these.
