The Spindle Head on Z axis (runs various drills) jammed up against the ATC when it went to change tools - this was a few days ago and have been troubleshooting since. Unjamming it, releasing the tool and returning to zero isn't a problem. Machine was operating correctly prior to this and we havn't changed any parameters or physical locations.
Restarted a few times, re-homed ect and machine appears to work normally (have full movement across X,Y,Z axis) BUT after first drilling operation Spindle Head moves back up to get into position for the ATC, moves across and jams/fouls against the ATC - so the issue persists.
On visual inspection of the Spindle head relative to the ATC the Spindle Head appears to be approx 6mm higher than where it should be to align correctly with the tools on the ATC.

The recent alarm history:
Operation Errors
0101
0004 Z
Stop Code
0203
3.ATC Not Ready
--------------------------------------
Have taken following actions:
ATC recover mode in PLC-SW - no change
#2038 (#2_rfp) Second Reference Point from zero for Z axis. Amendments to values made no difference to Z position of Spindle Head when it went back to zero unfortunately
Havn't fiddled with #3207 (SP001, OPST) for Spindle Orient position shift. My understanding is this changes degress of rotation of Spindle head but this doesn't appear the cause of the jam, it seems height related
Without knowing the root cause of the misalignment it seems I may need to set a new zero coordinate on Z axis to compensate.
sorry can't help, have a atc issue also on a meldar 520 control, spindle comes to position on tool change, spindle stops, but does not align, and spindle just rotates slightly back, and you can spin spindle by hand, with no resistance. no alarm
