    Anyone know what's causing this graphic effect on the surfaces in X (2005)

    You have multiple entities indicating the surface ... combination of surfaces and solid faces
    Put the solid onto a separate level ... and turn it off to see just the surfaces

    That was it Superman, I was forgetting to turn off the visibililty of the other levels when working on the surfaces level.
