Cutting an internal o ring groove

I haven't attempted this yet.

Has anyone done this with Madcam? How are you doing it?

I havent milled it yet, but I think it might work to use "curve milling" along a closed curve consisting of an outward spiral, two arcs forming a circle with a bit of overlap and an inward spiral. This makes the tool plunge in the centre of your bore and come up again through the centre.
