Default 2d Profile has gaps in the toolpath.

Hello, I'm really new to Madcam and I'm having problems creating a simple 2d profile path. I have 4 puzzle pieces that I want to cut out of wood. When I generate the toolpath, it comes out with small gaps in each profile. Sometimes One gap but often, 3 to 4 gaps. This means that when I run it the cutter will finish one part of a closed curve and then move to another part of the curve instead of flowing around the entire curve. Any suggestions?

In the cutter dialog, in Speed/Settings, there is a box for Cut-link distance. It sounds like this is related to your issue and if you increase it, maybe that will help.

    The madCAM help says:
Cut-link-distance: Maximum distance to travel on the model without a retract, traverse and approach motion.
