Limit depth during v-carving operation
Hello,
I request your assistance.
I want to mill a text and logo into a curved surface (depth 0.2mm).
Most of the material is removed by a 1mm flat end.
To get the corners of the letters and logo sharp I planed to use a engraving bit and the v-carve operation form to boundary curves.
So the bit goes on its tip in the corners and dives into the material when the distance between the lines is bigger.
But this means that the bit will dive to far into the stock because the max depth of the letter should be 0.2mm.
So v-carving is not the right operation.
Is there another possiblity to follow the lines and get the tool on the tip when there is a corner?
best regards,
Marc
