None of the 2D Curve Options have any effect

I am following a 2D curve and the tool path location is at the cutter center instead of the tip even though the Cutter Tip option is shown in 2D Options. Also changing the Depth option seems to have no effect on the generated tool path.

Just a guess- if your curve is open there is no way for Madcam to know inside from outside.

Thanks, but I am using "Along Curves" so the side shouldn't matter. I am seeing a problem with the depth of cut - I see the same issue when I test with a circle. The curve path is treated as the cutter center by the post processor instead of the cutter tip even though "Cutter Tip" is selected in 2D options. So the cut is deeper than I expect.
