    Default Tool Path Starting Point

Several years back, I noticed a thread that suggested the idea of being able to select a point where madCAM would begin a toolpath operation.

Was this ever implemented or is there another way to do this?

    Best regards,

    Bruce

Can't recall it was made, but I like the idea though.

    Bcavender,
    "Select Start Points"
This is where you select it in 3/4/5 versions see pic below.
    I have not used it.
Joakim should be able to tell you how it works.
    Regards,
    Mauri.

    Mauri,

    Thank you!!!

I had not noticed that selection in the Stock and Regions menu.

I defined a point, selected it with the command you suggested (thinking it might work like creating a region) and then immediately generated a toolpath for that pocket, but that point was somehow not associated with the next created tool path.

Maybe I am missing some other step or it's not fully implemented yet. The HELP section in my package doesn't show that command yet.

I think I am running the latest version. Haven't seen an update popup in a while.

    Bruce
