Default No cuts seen in simulator with MC 6 SR4

Using a 3 axis machine and a pocket cut, when I run the simulator, the tool moves correctly but the model does not show any of the cuts. Thanks for any help.

I have the same issue, no cuts shown on the sim. I've got MC 5.0 with Rhino 5.0.
My machine is defined as "3-axis" in the options.

    Any help appreciated.

I am not at my CAM computer at the moment, but I am pretty sure I did pocketing the other day without any problems in the sim. I can check later.

I've discovered my problem. With the "Draw model" option checked, I did not see that material was removed because the model was always shown. So user error.

But it does make me wonder when it is useful to have "Draw model" checked.
