    Wink Please Help

    Hello all
    I desperately need help.
I own a 5x9 CNC the label says it's a Multicam 3000 but I don't think it is because it also says (Majestic Machines.) and (automation technology inc).
Anyhow, about six months ago I had to put it in storage and now I just brought it back out, but every time I start mach3
the gantry moves in erratic ways, sometimes the gantry will move normally for maybe 20 seconds but eventually will error.
when I remove the usb cord it stops but it loses connection.
from what I read, I think it may be a grounding or EMI problem
has anybody encounter this problem before? and if so, how did you fix it.?
    Thanks in advance
    I really appreciate your help.
    WC

Sounds like your machine may be a retrofitted MultiCAM? Can you post some pics of the electronics, so we know what you have?

the problem was an USB cable not sending enough voltage. to the ESS
we ended up wiring an exterior power supply.
Thanks for all your help Mattcnc
