Look at a MRMN-300 insert, 0.059 nose radius. Looks like it might fit a standard V-groove parting holder, but you get to figure that one out.

Wish to cut a series of simple pipe bending rollers with precise half round edge grooves, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 dia. etc in the sides.
Programming is simple, but :-
Tooling :-
First option is to use >1/8" RNMG round insert but of course too small to be practical or available.
2nd - Make an HSS form tool with side relief. Possibly on a parting blade. Difficult to get the rad. accurate?
3rd - Use a 35 deg 04mm rad tool and approach from two sides with R&L/H tool.
On the surface, such a simple looking task. Any advice on the best way to CNC these grooves very much appreciated.
