    Unhappy Feed rate problem.

Open program and load a code with say feed of F250 and press cycle start . Program runs a feed rate of 6mm min or just ticking over. Hit Stop , GOTO Zero ,Rewind code and cycle start and away we go , feed rate is whatever I have set in code . This only happens on initial cycle or each time I load Mach3. Any thoughts Appreciated.

Does your program specify units of measurement in the header (G20 or G21)?

    Hi,
when Mach3 loads and/or resets it defaults to what is a presumed safe feed rate of 6mm/min.

If you wish to change that behavior then include a 'F300' or whatever in the pre program Gcode string, you can find and edit it in the Mach3 General settings
page. I have not used Mach3 for nearly seven years because I adopted Mach4....and my memory fades on those little details.
