    Default MACH3 no input signals

    Hello,
I am running mach3 on a new computer with PP card (5v) connected to the PCI.
I am able to putout signals to the servo motor and run them with no problems, but I am unable to receive data from the BOB.
And I need to be able to stop the run if one of the motors get stalled - which apparently happens quit often.
The BOB (image attached) is supposed to have P10 connected to ground in order to trigger the Estop.
Mach3 does not show any response and does not show any indication for triggered pin.
I didn't manage to run any PP tester since they try to connect via 0x378 and my PP is using 0xd000 (maybe the reason has nothing to do with it).
I tired to install any possible driver with no success and my manager shows that I have driver problems with my PCI.
I tested two BOB and both show the same problems.

    Any suggestion will be great!
    Thank a lot,
    Nir

Do you nave 12 - 24V power supply connected to BOB?
That supply provides power for the inputs (through opto couplers).

WOW I could kiss you right know I spent 12 hours going in circle's and you pinpointed the problem immediately!
I have no idea how it worked without power supply! I thought the USB is the power supply. Thanks a lot!

The outputs work with the 5V USB cable, but the inputs need a 12V-24V power supply.

Do not kiss me, I'm not that kind of person
12..24V power supply is needed for inputs and 0..10V output for VFD to operate.
5V power supply applied through USB or PC5V/PCGND is for Step/Did/Enable outputs to be functional.

LOL many thanks for the replies!
May I ask another question in the same subject of power supplies (PS)?
Every time I power my CNC machine it draws from the PS >3X250W for the servo motors, sometimes it causes a surge and my computer lock the interface (PP, keyboard and mouse).
My computer is protected with a UPS but the surge can come from the PP (not the USB since I connect it to another PS), I can technically power each PS one at a time, but I am sure there is a better way.
What I was thinking of was to buy a DELL AP6021 C13 OUTLET PDU (or something of the sort), which is supposed to distribute the power properly but I never used it nor I am aware of other/better options.
Any advice in the matter is appreciated!

    Thank a lot,
    Nir
