Breakout board - Spindle Wiring

Replaced breakout board with a cheap 5 axis board. Have it all working except the spindle.

This is the board


Lastest wiring attempt I have

Cm (inverter) - pin 17 (breakout board)
Fwd - gnd
Ai - 0-10v

And no jumper on the relay

What do you have in "Ports and pins - Output signals" and "Ports and pins - Spindle setup"? Try this:

Output signals:
- Output #1 enabled, port 1, pin 17.

Spindle setup:
- "Use spindle motor output" checked
- "PWM control" checked
- "Disable spindle relays" unchecked
- "Clockwise M3" output #1

I don't think you have these wired right either. I personally would NOT wire the inverter directly to P17, I would use the onboard relay instead.

Thanks for the advice - Always the way but managed to jag it not long after posting this (have been trying on and off for near a year - 2nd Hand dodged up machine)

Isnt much info on spindle setup for these boards so just for anyone else having the same issue, I ended up connecting

Inverter cm - relay on break out board
Inverter fwd - other relay pin

And set Mach3
