Google "Mach3 Auto Zero Script".
Hello Gents
I purchased a Tool Setter Touch plate, which did not have a script file attached to it. The total thickness is 19.76 mm.
Any idea where a suitable vbscript file, may be downloaded and this thickness measurement can be edited in it?
This is required for my MACH3 controlled cnc router.
Regards
Craig

Hello ger21
Thank you for your response. I found what I was looking for, which was a link from a video clip. The link was not available anymore, but as you said, a Google search will find it. I found one and installed it. It works for sure.

Hi Gents
I had the auto tool set working well on my MACH3 controlled router. All of a sudden, it gives an error message, when clicking on the AUTO TOOL ZERO icon in MACH3. Error in script .in. I don`t know what they are referring to? The licensed version of MACH3, which I am using is R3.043.062
A Google search enabled me to find a vbscript file and the measurements are in IMPERIAL.
What is the correct way of entering a METRIC number into the vbscript? Must a mm be typed after the numerical figure, with a space or not?
Regards
Craig
The script does not know or care what units you are using.
I think the error message is just cropped, so it's hard to say what it's referring to.
But there must be some type of syntax or other error.

Hello Gerry
This is so frustrating. If I tap on the DEBUG icon on the vbscript folder, there is a F7 and F8 tab. After selecting either one of them, the script re-opens and the (mm) is HIGHLIGHTED after the plate thickness. Its as if its trying to tell me something, regarding the METRIC letters. I could be wrong?
If I leave the vbscript exactly as it is (GURU) on YouTube version, it works, BUT it lowers down onto the touch plate and carries on as if its a hydraulic press. I just have to hit the Emergency stop.

Hi Gerry
All this trouble started after connecting a remote USB pendant, bought on eBay. It worked until I discovered that the Auto Tool Zero went bonkers. So left the pendant alone, as it started this problem.
Can you not post the script here, you may need to call it *.txt
Hello robertspark
I will try to post the script, which I used.
Hello Gents
The attached script is working, but I need to change the plate thickness of ( 2, 060 ) to a Metric measurement of 19.76 mm.
