Default PRECIX - Looking for detailed G-code information

    Hi,

I just picked up a used circa 2001 Precix belt driven router. The controller was upgraded about 6 months ago and the machine is running fine.

Most of my CNC background has been with WinCNC control software. The QM control software that came with the Precix seems to be basically functional but limited in comparison to WinCNC. Down the road I may make the investment to do a WinCNC upgrade but for now I'd like to at least explore the capabilities of the QM package.

Does anyone know of a detailed set of instructions out there anywhere? I have a couple versions of the router manual but that gives very limited information. I'm not even sure at this point if I can enter G-code directly at the machine or if everything has to be done in the .gc cut file.

    Thanks for any guidance here.

    BH

Is this one the DC servo systems? Many upgrade these systems using the DG4S servos:

You can upgrade this to Mach3/4 or UCCNC using the C62 or C76 boards:

If I upgrade it will be with WinCNC as I already know the system and the cost. My question here is just that I'm looking for insight on the existing QM control software.
