    Default CNC intarsia process?

    newbie question here. When you cut pieces for intarsia from a line drawing, how do you allow for the diameter of the tool so the pieces aren't too small?

    Offset the lines by 1/2 the tool diameter.

    how does it know which direction to offset then in? e.g. a circle?
