The quickest workaround would be to start using soft limits (which is a good idea anyway). Other than that, look at your tool change macros, see what they do and implement some Z position checks.
Hello,
i have an issue with my tool change using the big tex screenset with the tool change zero. Issue is when i do a tool change with a tool longer than the previous one, (the inverse is also true but do not engage issues), when i cycle start, mach 3 will try to position the tool for the next operation, it seems that it will also doma upward move to compensate for the new longer tool. Since my tool change are done at Z=-15mm, lowest i can so i can insert back the dust boot, if the difference between the new tool and previous tool is more than 15mm, mach will move up untill it trigger the limit switch.
Is there a workaround ?
thanks
