    Default Blending Z down feed

Hi all. just wondering if there is a way to gradually lower the Z height around 10 times, as i like to cut my work into sections and over lap them by a certain amount...it would be better if it was possible to increase the z amount to provide an even better blending of the surface, hope you understand what i am getting at ??? for instance at the end of each z cut manually insert a command to add an amount to the z setting
    Thanks ...stevep

You should be able to do this in the CAM program by setting the depth of cut. Or maybe I'm not understanding what you want to do.

Hi Jim, what I am looking for is to step down the Z heights during the overlapping paths of the model to blend out any slight errors in height of the z paths caused by stopping
and starting the feed the next day

You can just type a new Z value in the DRO.
For example, do an MDI move to Z1.
Then type 1.005 in the Z axis DRO, and it will then cut .005 deeper.

I made special buttons in my Mach3 screen just for that - "Raise Z 0.01mm" and "Drop Z 0.01mm". Helps a lot when you need to tweak your Z height (engraving, isolating PCB traces etc.)

Although I'm not sure if that's what the OP had in mind.
