I have my door interlocks all sorted out. Now what to do with them. I hate to wire them to the EStop with all that entails in restarting the program. Is there a way just to pause everything until the doors are closed and hit cycle start to resume the program. I'm thinking in the case that swarf starts to build up and I want to blow it off or a clamp looks like it needs repositioning.
I though of disabling all the drives but wonder how much position I would lose and if the DRO's would be correct. I quess the simple out would to be to attach it to an alarm that sounds when the doors are opened if the machine is running.
