Are you using the Mach3 post for MasterCam? The Haas post may not be compatible with Mach3. It could also be an issue with ramping in and out of the cuts.
I have a several plaques to engrave, the gcode was created with MasterCam, it works fine when I run it on a Haas mill. I needed to have a faster spindle speed and feed rate, the college purchased a cnc router with mach3.
when I run the same program many of the letters and numbers do not come to a complete close ( small gaps ) as if the spindle is lifting out of the letter/number to soon or entering to late.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. this is a community project I have been asked to work on.

I am not using the Mach3 post, I was looking for it. I have tried changing some settings in Mastercam thinking as you that its a ramping / lead in/out issue.
Link for Mach3 post?
Maybe try here https://www.machsupport.com/download...st-processors/
Disclaimer: I have very limited experience with both MasterCam and Mach3, so I can't help with anything but some general observations.

It appears to be a deceleration issue, I added a G8 to turn on deceleration and got the gap to close up. this unfortunately increased run time by more than 50%. I will now see what I can do to adjust deceleration and increase run time.
Thanks for you suggestions.
