Just to update, I brought in a third laptop and still have this problem. For now I have relocated my PC to run this machine.
Hello, all.
I was just setting up a touch probe for my router with the xulifeng motion card and ran into an issue.
When I jog y plus or x minus, the digitize light comes on and stays on until I jog in the opposite direction. The probe input is ignored.
My ports and pins are configured correctly as far as I'm aware. I can use the probe unless I jog y plus or x minus first. Then I get an error. The led on both the card and the touch probe both indicate they are working properly.
Any suggestions?
I tried this on 2 laptops, and a PC. Both laptops do it, the PC works properly. I'm using the same configuration files.

Sounds like an issue with the Chinese card or plugin. Very common to have probing (and other) issues with most if not all Chinese cards.

I'd recommend an ethernet smoothstepper, or one of the CNC Drives controllers. Ethernet is a better choice than USB, but CNC Drive does make the USB UC100.

Better to use an ethernet controller and not USB. UC300ETH, UC400ETH, AXBB-E.
Thanks for the advice guys. I will look into it, when I do get an Ethernet controller, I will let you know my findings. i'm sure it will work out fine.
