All,

I hope the apocolypse is treating you all well. I'm very new to the world of CNC/Mach3, and am in the process of setting up my RF-25. I have the iGaging-type scales on all three axes, and I have the ability to get the encoder values to Mach3 via a Caliper2PC box. My question is much more general though: In the "Screw Mapping" function, is it possible to collect the data for the screw mapping by reading from the encoder automatically for an array of data points? Meaning, instead of 1) move to new data point 2) switch windows 3) click "Read from Encoders" 4) click "Add Correction Point" 5) repeat, is it possible to do all of these steps automatically for the entire length of the screw?

I'm thinking that this is not a feature already built-in to Mach3, however I imagine that it may be possible by creating a G-Code or a macro that perhaps does this (or at least makes it less arduous).

Eager to hear your thoughts!
