You can't use multiple .xml files. If you're adding the C10 to your existing system, you'll need to manually enter the port and pins.
.xml files go in the Mach3\ folder
When I go to start up mach 3, I go to mach 3 loader, then select the XML file for the DMM breakout board I'm using, and mach 3 then loads up.
I'm using an ESS and 2 DMM breakout boards
I'm adding a c10 board to another port on the ESS. The c10 board has an xml file for it. Its been awhile since I set up mach 3. My question is where do I put the xml file for the c10 board? A certain folder?

oh so basically if I plug c10 board into the ESS port 3, I just have to enter port 3, pin # for whatever I'm connecting to the board? I didn't realize xml files just make it so you don't have to manually input the ports and pins.
Thanks for the info
Basically, yes.
The .xml file contains all of your Mach3 settings. So if you switch to a new .xml for the C10, then you lose all the previous settings for your current setup.
