hello everyone. I have a problem with machining circles. everything seems good if I just make one pass, but if I want to go deeper than one cut then as the cutter descends into the material the Y axis moves in a minus direction. It has to be something to do with settings I feel sure because it moves the same amount over with each cut down but I can not see what the problem is, can anyone help me out please?
thank you

I have tried to post a pic but is not working ? anyone advise please?
thanks haz
this is a picture of my problem after running cut a circle to a depth of .8mm .1mm per cut can anyone please assist?
thank you Haz
This on the surface appears to be the Steps per Unit are set wrong on the Yaxis. Post your gcode you are running to do these tests. My friend has this same machine and it still has the GRBL controller but it cuts circles fine.

Looks like it's losing steps in the Y axis. Do you have backlash comp enabled?

Clearly Gerry could also be correct. Also check coupling tightness on that axis. My friend has same machine and his coupling came loose a day after he started using it.

thank you Russ for your input. I just reloaded mach3 066 version and all is good, think I need to download some files to keep win10 stable with usb mach3 running properly with the plugin bl-usbmach v2.2 so need to look into that . have a good day
