Does it stop at or near line 500?
If so, it's because Mach3 is in demo mode.
Not sure what is happening here, but I am running a simple inlay code from Vcarve Pro. Part way through the run, the CNC shuts down. Same place every time. CNC Router Parts Pro4848. Does not appear to be an error code anywhere in Mach 3 that I can find. The "Flood" light is flashing? Not sure why as I don't have a liquid-cooled spindle.
So, is this a Mach 3 issue or something in the VCarve?
Insight on where to look would be appreciated!
Stan

Not sure, I will check. What does that mean? Used it yesterday without incident, so not sure what changed??
That would mean the license is not working.
Does it say Licensed to (your name) in the Title bar?

Yes, still shows as licensed to me.
Were there any messages when it stopped?
Are you using a parallel port, or a motion controller? If a controller, which one?

Just tried a totally separate file generated in Vcarve Pro and it executed fine, so I assume it must be something in the original code?
No obvious error messages. Gantry just stops and the spindle spools down, same place every time.
I'm going to re-generate the G-code from Vcarve and try it again.
Thanks for your ideas on things to check!
There should be a message on the screen.
Is the reset button flashing when it stops?
