Default Mach 3 randomly changes motor pins to 0

Weird thing happening. Occasionally I will lose the X motor.....sometimes both the X and Y. I recently dscovered that when I check the motor pins, they are changed to 0 from their original value....Anyone experience anything like this? Thanks!
