    Default Mach3 settings for UC400ETH

    How do I get Mach3 to get UC400ETH + HDBB2 to jog a motor?
I have just connected 1 motor on the Zaxis.
Then in the ports and pins I have enabled Z axis and set the Step as pin 6 and Dir as Pin 7.
I have TB6600 as stepper drivers.
Strangely, When I connect the enable to the driver (EN + and EN-) the motor shaft can be turned by hand but when I remove the enable to the driver the motor shaft cannot be turned by hand it is locked.

When the motor is locked, the drive is enabled. Most drivers are enabled by default.

Its good to hear that the drive is enabled. Any idea what I could look into to get the motor to jog. is the Pin setup 6 and 7 correct for Z axis on Mach3 for the UC400ETH. I can't find any info regarding Mach3 setup on the UC400ETH docs?

Ok, so I got it to work,
I had to load the Mill profile, and then the motor started jogging. So far I was using the Lathe profile. The mill profile already had the pins and ports all setup. So didn't need to do any settings as such.
However now when I jog X + or X - the motor only rotates in the clockwise direction. Any idea with the motor is not reversing? Is this an extra config in Mach3?

The drive is not receiving the direction signal, only the step.

Yes, got it, there was a mistake in the Pin assignments. DIR was wrongly assigned to 6 instead of 3.
