    Default Mach3 software question

    Hello
I can't find any info on my problem, so maybe someone run into this before
I have made a small script that runs at the end of a gcode program that will shut down Mach3 and then shutdown the PC running the machine, and I put this script in the milling macros folder under M697.
My problem is that when mach3 loads a gcode program with my M697 code at the end, it checks for errors and then activates the script in M697 which of course shut down the PC before the gcode has run.
Is there some way to stop Mach3 from executing the M697 script at the start so the gcode program can run first

    Hello Jeff
Thanks for the very quick reply.
No I didn't see that one, unfortunately my problem is not with the scripting part, it is actually with the Mach3 software.
When I load a gcode with an Mcode embedded at the end to activate the script, this is where my problem is. What is happening is when you first load a gcode into Mach3 it does a quick check to see if there are any errors in the gcode. When it does this check, it sees my Mcode script (shut down) and immediately activates the script and therefore my computer shuts down before it does any cutting.
I am looking to either stop Mach3 from doing its initial check or stop it from executing the scrip before the gcode program has been run
    Cheers

There's an option to disable M codes during file loading in General Config.

    Hi Gerry
I am running something right now, but will look at that right after.
So simple, but amazingly not easy to find it.
    Thank you so much
