Alright MAC!!!!!
I sir am UP and RUNNING!!
So what I ended up doing was like you said..... I grabbed the scope from work, came home and basically began tracing the PWM signal all the way back from ESS pin14 Port 1 then began toggling questionable I/O settings in MACH3 until...... FINALLY found my analog 0-10 Vdc on the G540 Pin 8
So here's what I have working:
So Mac I owe a HUGE Thanks to you sir!!! Thank you for sticking with me and being there to bounce ideas off of and for all of your great suggestions!! Would have taken me much much longer if I were left to myself to dwell alone in the maddening situation..... So anyway.... Cut my first piece from a hunk of wood from the garage, designed in Inventor, CAM'd in HSM Express and executed in MACH3..... went smooth!!
Now I am working on:
1. Motion Cable (your suggestion) Install as connectors finally arrived a day ago.
2. Spindle takes FOREVER to ramp up to speed, gotta figure that out.... is there a calibration I can do?
3. Want to get some good cutters..... Want to surface, engrave, Chamfer, Mill and maybe some BAS relief (image to 3D .TAP) stuff so maybe a good ball mill
4. Know any good software for taking images (jpeg, DXF) to 3D and generating a .TAP ? Was looking at ARTCAM (since im already doing everything with autodesk and fluent) but it appears its discontinued??
