Default Issue with Mach3 and USS

    Hi all,

Got my CNC up and running beautifully on my old computer but now I have a new Windows 10 machine with a USS smooth stepper. The ports and pins and everything I believe are configured correctly and I just got it calibrated and everything. Only issue is Mach3 keeps tripping the external reset button. First I thought it was my cheapy switch going out so I shorted that and it still trips reset after about 30 second of machining. I don't know if my separate spindle circuit is to blame or not. It seems to be more sensitive to reset trips the higher I run the spindle speed, but that could just be me.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I had to move my USS away from the rest of my box due to interference. I am running a Gecko g540 controller along with its own power supply and another variable voltage supply for the spindle itself.

    Thanks
    Keith

I know this is an old thread, but I was able to fix a similar issue by placing a large ferrite core right where the DB25 goes into the computer
