HIYA Gerry I think you will find that you CAN do that with UCCNC (;-) I just did something very similar. .
And if I remember correctly we did it with Mach3 in about teh same way.
(;-) TP
That's similar to what I was talking about. When you're on different pages or screens, the F keys may have different functions.
Mach3 and UCCNC won't let you do that.
My advice to the OP. Do what YOU want to do, and don't really pay much attention to what anyone has said in this thread.
If people like it, they'll use it. If they don't, they won't.
While listening to advice can be helpful, it often leads to a bunch of features that are used by 1% of the users, and in the end, something different then what you had intended.

I don't have any reason to try to find out, because I'm not afraid of mice.

And yet to everyone of the mindset "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", just like the countless millions of embedded Windows NT 3.x, Win XP, Wind2k, etc, etc, systems still in use, while it still performs to the users needs, it will always be more than adequate.

It's a state of mind!
AAARGH , (;-) VERY WELL said .

U can use touchscreen ? I mean the boxes of buttons are large enough to use touchscreen?
For me it looks clean .
I think touchscreen can be used too. But I dont have it to test. After I finish, everyone can check.
OP don't let all these posts discourage you. I am running Windows 7-64 with 16gb of RAM, a 3gb GPU, i7 processor, and Mach3. I use an ESS, but I can run some huge parts error free while surfing the web, drawing parts in Fusion, even revising the CAM on the part that's running as to improve the next one all while Mach3 controls my mill in the background. Sure Mach3 does some funky stuff occasionally, but for the most part it's really good software. Design your free screen set and make people happy. I currently use the Mach STD Mill set, it's amazing, you should check it out if you haven't. Creating an advanced version of Mach STD Mill might even take things to the next lelel.
looks pretty clean . do you have room in there to add spindle and feed over ride , and coolant on/off , and I agree mactec about the home
A poet knows no boundary yet he is bound to the boundaries of ones own mind !! ........
Looks good, nice and simple. One thing using NCStudio has taught me, is I really like the less cluttered approach!

I can't check usage of MPG so I decided to leave TAB key as is.
As I think, the TAB key is reserved to show page #50. Am I right?
