    Default pocketing problem

Don't know if i should post this in the Mach section or the lazycam. In Lazycam I am using the laser post. When i engrave lines and export to Mach everything works fine. When i use the pocketing function in the lazycam everything looks correct. But when i load it to Mach it adds a bunch of concentric circles to the toolpath. I have also tried Inkscape with the laser plugin and it does the same thing. I don't have this problem with mach on my cnc router but i use mastercam 8 and a different post. I would use that but i can't figure out how to make the post put the M03 and M05 commands in to turn the laser on and off. So i get the laser engraving the radpid paths also. Any suggestions i am pulling my hair out.

Pocket is not really a valid laser/plasma toolpath. What you describe is exactly what a pocketing toolpath normally is. Profile, trace, engrave are more the normal toolpath types to be used with laser or plasma.
