Default How to increase the jog speed of Mach3?

    Dear All,
    I have both mach2 and mach3 software.
I can increase the jog speed of mach2 by pressing Shift + Arrow(left
    and right)
I don't know how to increase the jog speed of mach 3. How to do?

    Best Regards,
    Mongkol

The shift= direction bypasses the % of max jog that you can see by hitting the tab key and looking at the pendant like popup to the max setting
If the shift =+direction doesn't go any faster, you may have to raise the max motor speed under motor tuning. Just make sure you don't set the motor tuning any faster than the machine will go.

Default Re: How to increase the jog speed of Mach3?

Sorry to resurrect this one, but just want to sense-check something I'm seeing in Mach3.

When I use the keyboard to jog the machine, I'd expect the motors to move at the maximum speed defined in 'Motor Tuning'. So that's equivalent to a G0 (rapid) move.

However.... the homing speed which is defined in home/limits config also seems to affect this. So if the homing speed is set to 50% this appears also give me a 50% (of maximum) jogging speed from the keyboard. I mention this since I can't see this documented anywhere.

Normal rapid moves are of course unaffected and are determined by the motor tuning settings only.

Have I interpreted this correctly? Thanks!
