If you set the speed you want for the xy axis to say 50% then when you jog Z you should be able to press shift+Z jog key to jog at max on Z just a thought.
I have a Mach3 mill with different motors on each axis. X and Y have the maximum speed of 5000mm/min, while Z can only do 1500mm/min.
Problem is, the jog speed in Mach3 is set as a percentage of the maximum speed for each axis. If I set the desired speed for the X/Y, then my Z axis jogs too slow. If I set a reasonable speed for the Z axis, then the X/Y movement becomes too fast.
Is there any way to adjust the jog speed for each axis independently?
