I just finished my 4th axis build on a homemade CNC router. I did some positioning and wrapped toolpath in Fusion 360 and both worked fine. Then, I wanted to test some simultaneous milling with Mastercam and I can't seem to get it to work properly. First, I tried generating G code with Generic Fanuc 4X Mill and also Generic Haas 4X Mill post processors, but the toolpath I get from that is wrong. So next I tried with Generic Fanuc 4X Router post and got the correct toolpath. But when I run it on my machine, the movement is jerky and feedrates get very low sometimes(inconsistent feed). I will attach a link to a video so you can see and hear exactly what is happening.
I also tried generating G code in inverse time feedrate(G93) but the movement is still jerky/inconsistent.
Now i need your help, I think I tried changing every setting in Mach3 (CV, Look Ahead, Rotating Diameter,...maybe there is still something I forgot.)
Maybe there is a problem with Mastercam calculating weird feedrates. I will post a sample of G code generated by Generic Fanuc 4X Router post and a screenshot of the toolpath. The toolpath is Multiaxis > Blade Expert and it is 4 axis roughing.
! Sound on !
G code with G94: (on default post processor settings)
Any help would be appreciated. I also attached a screenshot where I can set the output format for feedrate, maybe I have something wrong here. If I forgot to mention something I will reply as quick as possible.
