Mach3 not finding Xbox 360 Controller

I also posted on the Mach3support site, but thought maybe someone here could have the answer.

I finished my first CNC build about a month ago. I am using Mach3 v66 fully licensed. All has been working very well.
I installed and have been using a Microsoft XBox 360 controller, again working very well.

Today i was moving some stuff around and unplugged my controller.
Now Mach3 will not recognize it. I have un installed and re installed it a couple of times
I remember the first time I installed it I had to manually input the Vendor Id and Product ID.
Now however it will not take that input. I input the ID's but when I go out of the config window it will not retain them. Always shows as "no controller" found.

Using
Win7 32
Mach3 v66
DirectX v11

Windows says no problems with the controller
DXDiag shows no problem with the controller and shows the ID's
No errors when starting Mach3.

As a sanity check I installed the XBox controller by shilling. It recognized the controll, but the control is very erratic and not usable.

So, any ideas where to look?

I am having the same problem. Windows says the controller is working, but Mach3 does not recognize it, and I cannot get Mach3 to retain the VID and PID input. Also, the "None" button is selected in the "Controller" portion of the setup screen and cannot be changed.

Did you find a solution for this? If so, can you post it?
