This sounds fabulous. I will have to try it.
Have you thought about an app for a pendant? There are several wireless pendants on the market but none that have a plugin for Mach4. I am sure that the pendants use Bluetooth and emulate a HID device.
hello to all,
I have developed an Android app for control Mach4 with bluetooth.
You can find it in Google play store with the name of
"CNC Bluetooth for Mach 4" or click this link https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...etoothformach4
Available functions:
-Jog functions
-Start / Stop / Feed Hold
-Override feed
-Start and stop spindle
-Home reference
To work you must have the following prerequisites:
-Android version 9 or higher (previous versions of the application cannot be installed as they
do not have some features that are present only from version 9 onwards)
-A PC with bluetooth and a version of Mach 4 installed
No need to install any additional software on your PC!
At this link you can find a configuration guide

let me know what you think when you try it.
Yes i think that is it possible add a pendant page...I will work on it.
My application use HID bluetooth (only for Android 9 o major) for simulate a wireless keyboard so is not necessary any additional plugin for Mach4...
Practically this application as it is made would also work with Mach3, but I think I create a separate application available shortly ...
Hi,
a CNC machine that is controlled wirelessly.....and you think this is a good idea???
I would suspect you are a programmer and have absolutely no maching exeprience.

I think wireless is not as bad as you make it out to be. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse and there are lots of folks that do that.
I use a pendant on my machine and would like for it to be wireless. I never start/stop a cycle with the pendant but it is vary handy to use to jog, zero, position, and setup a cycle.
I would never reach for the E-Stop button on a pendant, I would go for the big red button that is wired directly to the machine right in front of me.
And, yes, I do some programming and machining, I am just your average Joe (PUNN).
Thanks.
