My setup is as follows, ESS board to PMDx-126 to 4 203v geckodrives to 4 kelinginc stepper motors.
I upgraded my machine to a new PC, with ESS and Mach 4. I copied over the pin's and ports, motor tunings, and mapped them in mach 4. I can get 3 of the 4 motors responding but the x-axis slave motor is having some issues. I have a PMDX-126 BoB, and it lights up when I send a signal to that motor but no dice. I swapped step/dir wires between my geckodrives, and I was able to get the motor working but then the swapped motor didn't work. To me that means the wiring is fine, and the geckodrives are fine. The Bob is showing a signal being sent so that leaves something wrong in Mach 4. I've set that motor to be the A axis so I can try to drive it independently and still nothing. I've torn my hair going back and double and triple checking that I set the pins correctly, and activated the motors. What else can I check? Any ideas what to look for? Thanks for your help.
