Default Trying to test control box

Just finished wiring the control box and prepping for testing. Need some guidance on mach4 setup, can anyone lend some advice.

So far I have the software installed, the parallel port connected and motors wired for testing. Not sure where in mach4 the breakout board gets setup. At this point I have the hardware connected and software installed but no setup to make them communicate.

Still no luck with setting up the software for testing. Read an online guide that states I need the ESS plugin. Is this what I need to get so I can have the PC communicated with the BoB?

No, if using the parallel port, you need the Darwin plugin, which is $20 I think.

Still no successful testing. The conflicting device in the picture on post is likely the cause. Will troubleshoot that first and try testing again.
