Default Mach4 can't get it to home x or y but Z ok.

I just installed and setup Mach 4 (upgraded from Mach3) with ESS.

When trying to home it only homes the z axis then stops. I've tried just homing the x and y separate but nothing happens. Motors don't move and DRO's don't move.

The Motors and DRO's work fine on all axis when I jog so I know they are hooked up right and talking to the ESS.

The only difference is the X and Y are run by a motion controller and the Z is just a driver. Not sure if I should be looking there anyway because like I said everything jogs just fine and the Homing buttons not working for just x and y.

Am I missing something in the setup?

Can you elaborate on this, because it makes no sense.
All motors need drives, and they all need the motion controller to send them step/dir signals.

Well yes, your right the z is a drive but a more simple stepper motor driver where as I have the x and y hooked up to an Allen Bradley Kinetics 300 motion controller.
