Default Opinions on the Logic trace board

I have a 4x4 plasma table mainly just cutting signs and small parts. I want to expand and was considering a Logic trace board. I do not have a CAD background and usually have my brother draw things up when I need them, but that is hard to get done sometimes.
I would like to know if it is worth the money and is there work out there to justify my purchase?. Since I don't have one I don't know what opportunities are out there with this setup.Any advise will help. Thanks. Bob

If you are making complex shapes, it may be worth it. If it is something that you can easily draw up using geometric shapes, you probably don't need it. And even after you digitize something, you still have to tweak it and fiddle around with it to get it just right. A big part of my business is cutting foam with my router for gun cases, and I use mine every day.

that's exactly why I bought John Walsh's drawing board back in 2008, I did not like cad drawing and with all the other woodworking functions I had to do I could not get good enough
working with cad, this system you use his board and software and a pen and you draw.
The only decision is the size of board you require.

I have a 48x36 board. When I get an item longer than 4', I just digitize it in 2 pieces, and stitch them together in Aspire. The point being that you may not need one as big as you think.

I have a Logic Trace board. When you need it, it’s worth the cost!
